The LaLiT Resort & Spa Bekal has launched the Swasthya Retreat, positioning it as a new-year wellness offering centred on conscious luxury and slow, intentional travel. The retreat has been introduced at the all-suite resort located at the confluence of the Nombili River and the Arabian Sea in Kerala.
The property features 38 suites, each with private jacuzzis and lagoon-facing views. A key component of the retreat is the resort’s 20,000 sq ft Ayurvedic spa, which includes 11 treatment rooms designed to support privacy, restoration, and long-stay wellness programmes.
Rooted in the Sanskrit concept of Swasthya, which signifies balance and harmony, the retreat integrates wellness into the overall luxury stay experience. The programme has been developed in collaboration with Spiceology, a wellness brand inspired by traditional Indian spice knowledge, and focuses on therapies, nutrition, and lifestyle practices.
Guests can select from six wellness journeys, including Panchakarma detox, anti-ageing and rejuvenation, weight management, and de-stress and burnout recovery. Daily routines include yoga sessions, personalised treatments, regional cuisine, and time for rest within the natural surroundings.
Commenting on the launch, Cyril Feuillebois, Founder, Spiceology, said, “Swasthya Retreat at The Lalit Resort & Spa Bekal is my ode to unapologetic indulgence wrapped in holistic wellness.”
The retreat reflects The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group’s approach to conscious luxury, with an emphasis on local sourcing, mindful practices, and respect for regional culture.
